Atif A. Odeh
Principal Metallurgist / President
Considered by the industry as an expert in the field of metallurgy, heat treat and materials, Atif "Ott" Odeh has consulted with companies in North and South America, as well as Europe, China, Japan, Korea, India, and elsewhere. He is currently President and Principal Metallurgist for ATRONA Test Labs, Inc.; which he founded in 1999.
Mr. Odeh is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a B.S. in Metallurgical Engineering. He was named the Alumnus of the Year in 2004 by the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, Department of Material Science & Engineering. He is a member of the Material Science and Engineering Alumni Board at the University of Illinois and the author of "Metallurgy and Heat Treatment, the Pocket Book," a best-selling handbook that summarizes the essentials of metallurgy and materials, and their heat treatment along with personal experiences for what works.
